CSLB Discipline Self-Check

A short set of questions that sorts a situation against the three provisions that account for most contractor discipline exposure, and routes to the guide that develops each one. It does not score anything.

Licensing & CSLB

What this does, and what it will not do

It sorts. You answer a handful of questions and it names the provisions your answers touch, states the timing structure under Business and Professions Code section 7091, and links to the guides that develop them.

It does not assess risk, score anything, or predict an outcome, and it will not tell you that a matter is or is not a problem. The questions it asks are far narrower than the facts that decide a CSLB matter, so a verdict from those answers would be worth less than nothing.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is stored, transmitted, or logged — you may be describing conduct that is itself at issue, and that input should not exist anywhere after the session ends.

The tool

1. What has actually happened?
2. What did you receive?
3. Which of these describes the situation? Select all that apply.
4. Was the work done to plans prepared by an architect?
5. Licence status
6. When was the work performed?

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not stored, sent, or logged — they describe a live matter and should not exist anywhere after this session.
